MONDAY- March 18th- Club closed for San José public holiday.

TUESDAY- March 19th- Handicrafts/Patchwork Group meets at 11 a.m.
Mahjong Group also meets at 11 a.m.
Beginner’s Bridge at 2 p.m.

WEDNESDAY- March 20th- Canasta at 11 a.m.

THURSDAY- Feb. March 21st- Bridge at 11 a.m.

SATURDAY- March 23rd from 8 to 11 p.m.- spectacular Talent Show & Cocktail Party at AWC Clubhouse. Space is limited, as we have to make room for a stage for our performers. So sign up early. Admission is 12 €. For more information on this event, see the article directly below.

On Saturday, March 23rd the American Women’s Club of Madrid will be holding a Music Fest/Talent Show at our Clubhouse on Plaza República Ecuador, 6 in Madrid (metro Colombia). The Show will provide entertainment by a variety of local performers, with each act to be judged by a panel of three. First place prize is 100€, second place 50€, and third place 25€. Cocktails at 8 p.m. Show starts at 9 p.m. Admission is 12€ and open to members and non-members, but space is very limited. If you would like to attend, please sign up by ringing the Clubhouse at 91-457-1108.

MONDAY, March 11th is our monthly Bring and Buy Sale from 10,30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Clubhouse. Come and shop, bring your friends. You’re also most welcome to stay for a while and help us out with the Sale by attending customers, refolding clothing and bagging. Clean up starts at 2 p.m.and lasts until about 4,30. All help likewise welcome for cleanup if you’re not available mornings for the Sales hours.
