Bridge

The clubhouse hosts bridge twice a week. Members pay 2 EUR a time that goes into the day’s pot. Winner gets half, second gets a quarter and the remainder goes into our kitty. Non-member guests pay an extra 3 EUR fee. We play four or five rounds depending on the time. Ours is basically social bridge. We draw for partners and change after each set (four hands).

Bring and Buy

The Bring and Buy is a monthly sale of second-hand donated items that we hold at the clubhouse. We sell a wide variety of items including bakeware, clothing, electronics and other household items. We use this activity as a fundraiser and you can contribute to it in different ways.

Moms & Tots Music Class

Have little ones to entertain? Join other Moms with tots at these fun and stimulating classes designed to promote early childhood development through song and movement. The sessions are led by AWC member, Jennifer Doran, founder of Serenata Productions, and has 17 years of experience in childhood musical development. These classes are a great way to meet other moms and share quality time with your children.

Cost: 5 EUR for AWC members, 8 EUR for non-members.

Pilates Exercise Class

In these classes you will learn how to engage your core abdominal muscles to achieve all of the movements involved in Pilates. These movements promote flexibility, a healthy spine, and overall tone and wellness.

The classes are led by Chrystal Ridgeway, AWC member and certified Pilates instructor. Pre-registration is required since space is limited to 5 participants per class. Spots will be awarded on a first-come first-served basis.

Tapas Night and Bag Exchange

On Thursday, January 28th, AWC will be having a tapas night with a twist. Come and enjoy some wonderful tapas, but also bring along purses, jewelry, scarves or other accessories to exchange with other members. For every one item you bring in, you can pick an item from someone else. All items should be in excellent condition. Please contact Nancy at the clubhouse if you will be attending.
