Hello again to all my friends, 

It is always amazing to me to see how fast that time slips by. I sometimes wonder if it is just my imagination, or the days are secretly shorter???? In any case, I imagine you will all agree that summertime is way too short to fit in everything that should be done, to meet with all of the people we wanted to see or visit the many places we planned to go! Could it just be that we are too ambitious???

I don’t really think so. I’m convinced it’s just better to overshoot.

Now we are fast approaching the last quarter of the year 2008. Unbelieveable!

Let’s try to keep in mind just how fast the calendar pages turn, one day blending literally, into the next. As a wonderful club, with creative propositions and loads of options at our fingertips, let’s try to do it all!!! Take advantage of the fun. Not that we’re greedy, just ambitious…..

I’ll look forward to meeting you all along the way, putting the faces to the names. We have many marvelous activities coming up which deserve our attention, so let’s all give them the old college try! Let’s all get out there and make our events a whopping success: the Wine and Tapas Evening, the welcome back coffee, or the Bring and Buy mornings, etc. etc.. If we only jot two things on our calendars, maybe we’ll at least be able to make ONE of them, but the important thing is to participate. It’s a great group, intelligent conversation, and happy times. And, if there is something new you would like to propose, your suggestions are always welcome.

And YOU are welcome! Let’s get together.
