BAZAAR NEWS - TOMBOLA

The AWC bazaar is almost upon us! The Tombola is one of the bazaar’s most popular money-makers. It is similar to a raffle, but you almost always win something, which is why it is so popular. Prizes can range from a box of stationery, to a t-shirt, to household items.

The success of this Tombola depends on the number of prizes donated by AWC members! If every single member donated one item, we would have over 300 prizes!! So why not look around your house and see if you have any NEW items that can be donated to Tombola. It can be anything, from paper to plastic, from bottles of wine to like-new household knick-knacks, promotional gifts, or gifts you have received but never used. Tombola is very popular with children, so kid-friendly prizes are also appreciated. The prize should be worth around 5-10 euros. Or if you prefer you can go to your local shop and pick up something to donate. Donations should be left at the Clubhouse marked with the words “TOMBOLA” as soon as possible, so that they can be counted and added to the prize list. Let’s make this the best and biggest AWC Tombola of the century!!
