Board Actions on Task Force

FAWCO Vision for the Future Task ForceThe FAWCO Board is pleased to announce that the Vision for the Future Task Force Final Report and corresponding Recommendations were received in early May 2008.

Once again, we want to thank each of the Task Force members for their diligence and commitment to FAWCO throughout the last year. Task Force Chair Linda Rishel (AWG Paris and now FAUSA) led the very capable team of Elsie Bose (AWG Paris), Paula Daeppen (AWC Zurich), Paulette Fagen (AWC Dusseldorf and now FAUSA), Monica Jubayli (AWC Lebanon), Dale Koepenick (FAUSA), Cynthia Smith-Ayed (AIWC Casablanca) and Diana Smith Walsh (AWC Shanghai) through a multi-phased process.

The Vision for the Future Task Force’s goal as announced in spring 2007 was to make recommendations for constructive improvements to ensure that FAWCO will keep up with changes affecting Member Clubs while remaining a strong and vibrant organization in the future.

The FAWCO Board has reviewed the report and recommendations in great detail and initiated changes that are outlined in the FAWCO Board Actions on Task Force: Summary & Full Report.

The Board believes that the Task Force fully achieved its objectives and that the actions initiated by the FAWCO Board as a result of the Task Force Report and Recommendations will
serve FAWCO well in the years to come.

The FAWCO Board would like to congratulate the Vision for the Future Task Force for its excellent work and strong recommendations. As a result of their efforts, FAWCO will be a better organization!
