It’s still not too late to join! ELIZABETH LIPTON, a.s.i.d., CD (American Society of Interior Designers, licensed in New York). Liz is a professional designer with many years of experience. This course is formulated the needs of an audience such as ours. She is willing to make field trips to decorator sources, and answer any questions. This is an opportunity for all of us to learn to appreciate and improve our surroundings.

Bring & Buy Setup
Our monthly Bring and Buy Sale is next Monday, Feb. 13th. It is an all donations sale. We would like to sell lots of our winter things so as to start to make room for Spring clothing. We are especially in need of sweaters, handbags and winter coats and jackets. But do bring in ANYTHING you won´t be needing, even if out of season. We also need helping hands for the set up, this coming Thursday and Friday, Feb. 9th and 10th anytime from about 10,30 until 4 p.m. On Monday, Feb. 13th, we can use help to run our sale from 10,30 to 2,00 and then for cleaning up, from 2,00 until about 4,30. Come in and have some fun and help our Club continue contributing to charitable causes. See you there!!!

We are very happy to share with our members the great news about this year's Annual Book Sale: we made over 1150 euros selling books, chili, bolivian empanadas, and our own special home made baked goodies. Quoting our leader Fran Clemens : "Each grain of sand, be it helping to cull books, baking some wonderful dessert, making a great chili, helping in set-up, the day of the sale & packing up, contributed to help make it as good as it was. There were plenty of people for everything so it was so much easier for all involved.

Don't forget about the Social Meeting tomorrow on Tuesday March 8th, coffee & tea starting 11 am, Dr.Laurence Baker will attempt to explain US Health Care System.

On Monday, March 14th our next All Donation Bring & Buy Sale takes place. All proceeds from this Sale go directly to the Club. To add to this total we will have a "mini" Bake Sale. So if your schedule allows, we sincerely appreciate your helping out with donations of all sorts for the Sale, baked goods and volunteers for setting up on Thursday 10th or Friday 11th and clean up on Monday afternoon.

Bulletin Correction- THURSDAY NIGHT IS BYOB!

Hello to all on this cold February afternoon!

The March bulletins are available at the Clubhouse and will be mailed to those who normally receive by mail. However there is one important correction - the Clubhouse will be open on Thursday, not Wednesday 2nd!
Let me know if you are coming please!

Next group gathering, our monthly Social Meeting on Tuesday March 8th for a talk about the American Health Care system and President Obama's reforms.

With our Spanish sunshine we are somewhat spoiled with better than average winter and spring weather - which puts us all in good moods, with energy to do things!

Just a quick reminder to sign up for the February Kids Activity. For the month of February we'll be having a Valentine's craft and party on February 19th at 11am and 4:30pm. We're trying 2 sessions this month to make room for more families. Please sign-up by e-mailing Jackie at jdumoit@estrenaweb.com, by Wednesday, February 16th.

Just a reminder to sign up for the cupcake demo, brought to AWC by Senora Cupcake. Wednesday, February 2nd, at 8:30pm, we'll meet at the club and decorate an extra-large cupcake, all materials and instruction will be provided!
