Help needed with Bring and Buy

Happy New Year everyone. It still stuns me to realize it's the year 2010. Wasn't it just Y2K, 1999?

At AWC we hope to have another wonderful year. Check the January bulletin for the picture collage reviewing the year, an make sure you check out the January calendar for upcoming events.

This Thursday and Friday is the first Bring and Buy of the year. As you probably know, Bring and Buy is the monthly second-hand sale that AWC holds at the clubhouse. Items range from clothing, kitchen items, books, jewelry and more. You can find some really great things there. Nancy, our clubhouse manager, found a great waffle maker once, and I got the cutest gingerbread man cake pan. But in order for the sale to happen, we rely on our member volunteers to help set-up the sale. Thursday and Friday we'll be transforming the clubhouse into a store and we need all the help we can get. If you're a current member, or even a prospective member, willing to come down and volunteer a few hours we'd greatly appreciate it. It's a lot of work dragging out boxes, pricing items, and organizing things, but it's also a lot of fun. Set-up is from 11-4 this Thursday and Friday, the 7th and 8th.
