The last time someone made your head turn, were you responding with your mind or your body? Has physical attraction shaped our culture, our biology, or both? From coil-stretched necks and bound feet to steroid-pumped muscles and stick-thin super models, we’ll explore what makes men and women attractive, and we’ll ask whether beauty is in the eye of the beholder, or is controlled by something less controllable...our genes.
Back by popular demand, Dr. Mary Prendergast, will be presenting a very interesting topic- the anthropology of physical attraction. Coffee and snacks will be served from 11-1 and the presentation will start promptly at 1.
