Happy Easter Vacation and Celebrations. The AWC Clubhouse is open as usual and hoping that you will be stopping by. Great things are happening this month of April and even better things are being planned!

The All Donations APRIL Bring & Buy is next Monday, April 12th. Bridge players are welcome to play on Wednesday the 7th, and are asked to call and confirm so we can try to coordinate the table formations. Happy/handy/helper VOLUNTEERS are needed on Thursday 8th, Friday 9th and Monday 12th, so if you are available, please let the Clubhouse know. Donations are also needed, household textiles and spring season clothing especially, and our charity pick-up specifically asks for strollers, clothing, men's shoes and toys of all kinds.

Remember the AWC Spring Fundraiser is a 50-50 raffle so be sure to pick up your raffle tickets and/or return those received with your April bulletin mailing - 6 tickets for 10 euros. One winning ticket will receive 1/2 of the money raised in ticket sales so we sincerely appreciate your participation.

Finally, AWC members are once again invited to the US Embassy Residence to meet Susan Solomont on Wednesday, May 5th. Be sure to save the date and sign up with your ID number with me at the Clubhouse (by return email or telephone). In early June we will also be holding our Annual End of the Year Luncheon, with our new and old Executive Board members and both Susan Solomont and Alida Chacon will attend. The Annual General Meeting takes place this month on Tuesday April 13th to discuss Club business and confirm the new Executive Board and we sincerely hope that there will be plenty of members attending.
