AWC Members enjoy regular weekly and monthly activities as well as special events and visits. At present our regular weekly/monthly activities include bridge, a bridge refresher course, canasta, a CreativiTY group, mahjong, country line dancing, and a Book Lover’s Book Club. We hold a Bring and Buy Sale once a month, the proceeds of which help to finance Club expenses and provide funds for our charity activities. Our January Sale will be held on Monday, January 11th from 10,30 to 2, with set up taking place on Thursday and Friday, January 7th and 8th. The month of January will also feature: a Café Meeting Point outing on Tuesday, January 12th; a Wine and Tapas Evening on Thursday, January 21st; a Social Meeting on Friday, January 22nd with a talk on Graphology by psychologist Nereida Gómez; a Coffee Morning at a member’s home on Tuesday, January 26th; and a Movie Night with the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) on Thursday, January 28th. AWC will be open this Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 21st and 22nd during our regular hours from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. There will be bridge and the bridge refresher course on Monday at 11 am. and 2 p.m. respectively. Tuesday will feature a coffee morning at a member's home (contact Nancy to see if it´s still possible to sign up) and Handicrafts at 11 as well as Mahjong also at 11. The Canasta group will meet on Tuesday at 2,30 p.m. The Club will close for the Christmas holidays on Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m. and will reopen on Thursday, January 7th at 10 a.m. On that Thursday we´ll start setting up for our Monday, Jan. 11th Bring and Buy.
