A round of applause is deserved by all who helped to make the March 23rd AWC Talent Show a standing-room-only success. Thanks first of all to our performers: Paula Lerdo de Tejada, the DaniPhils, the Sweet Twins, Mike McDonald, Ita Ruíz, Yuin Cheena, and the Barbies. They kept their cool under very limited space conditions. And thanks to the hard work of among others: Nina Valdés for having the original idea and making it a reality; Evelyn Pérez for decorating the stage; Lynne Friedman for her work as Mistress of Ceremonies and CD Technician; Monica Cobos and Rosemary Hoogesteger and others who worked the bar and kitchen; Catherine Clark for producing our paper program from way over in Manhattan; to the judges for evaulating the performances: and to all those who helped set up and clean up before and after the event. Not to be forgotten is our patient audience!! And thanks to Restaurante Bangkok in Madrid for donating the finger food served at intermission time.
